I think it’s safe to say that the “Shacket” trend is the most popular this season, and I completely understand why! I have always been pro oversized shirts, jackets, & flannels, so when I discovered the shacket, it was right up my ally. With them becoming more and more popular, I decided to snag a few and create a Shacket Roundup from some of my favorite retailers. I did a little try-on today on my Instagram stories, and also made a little Tik-Tok showing them off. But, I wanted to make sure to also get down tot he nitty gritty and give a little more detail here than I can in a 15 second video.
Honestly, the hardest part of this little Shacket Roundup project was limiting myself to only a handful of shackets, lol. I could have bought about 10 if I allowed myself! But, I figured to keep it short and sweet and review the ones I keep seeing over and over again on the socials.
My Personal Favorite- H&M Shacket
Now, this one is my favorite mainly because I already owned it, the color is perfection and it is WARM. The price is/was about average. Unfortunately, it just so happened to sell out, and have yet to be restocked since purchasing, but I linked similar from H&M for you guys! This one gets a 10/10.
My Second Favorite- Walmart Shacket
So this Walmart find is definitely my second favorite. I was honestly surprised at the quality of it based on the price. It has a thick lining inside to keep you warm and I really loved how long it was. This one definitely gets a 10/10 from me.
Shein Shacket- #1
OK so- this shacket I have seen EVERYWHERE. So I obviously had to try it out! I really liked this one actually. The sleeves don’t button/roll up which I thought was unique and I really liked the colors. I do wish it was longer, but the quality seemed really good. It was almost like a wool coat like the others but obviously not, it was a little softer. This one definitely gives you more shirt, less jacket vibes. I give this one an 8/10.
Shein Shacket- #2
OK- this one was NOT my fav. I guess I was expecting it to be thicker like the rest and more structured. The “collar” was floppy and not structured at all. It was thin so wouldn’t really keep you warm. BUT, I really did like the color of it and would totally love to find one just like this but more jacket style. I also liked the length of it. Giving this one a 4/10.
Corduroy Shacket- Target
Another big trend this season is corduroy, which I am also totally down for. If you don’t know this already, I am a sucker for all things layers and jacket. (& now shackets, lol) So when corduroy started popping up everywhere I was DOWN. This Target shacket is definitely more on the shirt side, but I really liked it. It would be perfect for layering on a warmer fall/winter day. We get many of those here in Houston, lol. Giving this one a 7/10, only deducting points because it was on the stiff side and I feel would need to be broken in a bit.
That’s all folks! Are you down for the shacket trend this year? Let me know in the comments! Below you can find the links to all the items in the Shacket Roundup. As always, thank you so much for following along WWAB!
