Happy Spring, y’all! I can’t believe March is almost over and 2022 is kicking into full gear! With a new season here, that means a new wardrobe. I know how stressful it can be to try and come up with outfits during the start of a new season, when some days it’s cool and some days it’s warmer. That’s why I try to make sure to keep a closet full of year-round staples that can be easily used to create the chicest looks that look put together, but also effortless! In this post I am sharing my closet staples for Spring that you probably already have hanging in your closet. If you don’t you can use this as a guide to help you get your closet stocked and ready for the season, and rest of the year!
THE BASICS: TANKS, BODYSUITS + DENIM
I am a big advocate for filling your closet with basic items that can be used year round to create pretty much any look you want. These are pieces that are timeless and will never go out of style. With that being said, I do tend to buy higher quality items in this category to insure that these pieces will last years, not just seasons.
For basics I like to include tank tops, bodysuits, and denim. All of which you probably have in your closet and can be thrown together to create a super chic and classic look.
- BODYSUITS
- DENIM
- TANKS
LAYERING: BUTTON UPS + BLAZERS
One of my favorite things to do is layer. I feel like throwing over a super classic piece can take an outfit from basic to chic in an instant! For spring, my favorite pieces are blazers and button ups. They are the perfect piece to elevate a look and look put together without really trying.
- BUTTON UPS
- BLAZERS
Shoes: sneakers + sandals
Obviously, when it comes to Spring staples everyone thinks sandals! I personally am such a sneaker girl, so I like to include those in my staple collection as well.
- SNEAKERS
- SANDALS
I hope this post helps you fill your closet with the pieces you need to create a timeless wardrobe and ALWAYS have an outfit! For outfit inspo, be sure to follow me on IG, TikTok, Pinterest & LTK! If you are looking for more fashion related posts, check out these!
