Well, hey! I feel like I haven’t made a blog post in forever! Life has been pretty crazy here lately. Between things opening back up, and finally getting to hangout with friends, to things kind of going back south and staying home more often. But, that’s life- am I right?! What does Forest Gump say? “Life’s like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get”? UH YEAH. To be honest I can’t remember the last time we did a Wedding Wednesday post, so I figured that should be my next one! In this post I am going to share with you guys all the wedding items from Amazon that we used and then add a few in that could be perfect for yours!
I know when you think of wedding items you don’t usually think Amazon. But let me tell you- Amazon has some GREAT stuff. I am probably their biggest fan, lol. I know you may think you want to buy “higher quality” things for the biggest day of your life, but honestly- no one even cares. In fact, they will probably be SHOOK when you tell them it was from Amazon and realize how much they probably overpaid for the same/similar thing!
Alright, alright. Here we go. Here are my Wedding Items from Amazon that I totally recommend:
Black Ring Box
The ring boxes that my rings and Cody’s ring came in were only big enough to hold 1 ring at a time. I found this box that fit two rings for less than $10 so it was a win for me! It comes in a few other colors also!
Vow Books
These were great and the perfect size! Cody and I decided to write our own vows and read them to each other during our “first look”, so I wanted to find some cute little notebooks that would also photograph well. (I am all about the details). I looked on Etsy and even saw a couple at Hobby Lobby but they either weren’t my style, or too expensive. These were under $10 and perfect!
Fans
I talked about these on my “bridesmaid gifts” post, which you should check out if you need some great ideas! These were our “party favors”, along with koozies for our guests. I knew I wanted to do some type of fan since we were getting married in September in Texas and it is HOT. I searched on some wholesale website and Amazon of course had the better deal. These were great for the day of the wedding and I didn’t receive any broken ones or any that didn’t work. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to add these to their wedding favors list. These would also be really cute for an outdoor bridal or baby shower too!
Body Suit
Another item I have mentioned before! I shared this body suit on my “Top 15 Amazon Purchases” post earlier! This thing came in so handy! It was the perfect undergarment for my wedding dress. Like I said in my previous post, size down!
Pink Ring Box
So the exact one I purchased is showing no longer available, so I linked some similar! This ring box was so cute! I knew I wanted a cute one that went with our wedding colors for pictures, and I didn’t want to use this one for the actual mid-ceremony ring box as the lid just comes right off, and doesn’t clasp on. This looked great in pictures and I received so many questions about where I found it! I even loaned it to a friend for her wedding!
Hair Clips
I actually had no intention of using these for the wedding day until I bought the necklaces and earrings. See my “bridesmaids gifts” post! The pearl hair clip was trending all over Instagram and Pinterest and I wanted to try it out for myself. When I got them in I had the idea of some of the bridesmaids wearing them on the wedding day. It turned out so cute! I loved how they added just a little personal touch to their already beautiful hairdos!
Sixpence
So I actually didn’t buy this myself, Cody’s grandma got it for me as a gift! But, you know the saying “Something old, something new…” well one of those is “a sixpence in her shoe”! Which, of course I had no idea, lol. I kept asking around the family if anyone had one and no one did, so Cody’s Mawmaw surprised me with this a few days before! If you read about it, the sixpence is supposed to bring your marriage riches/wealth! And we all need that!
Some More Cool Stuff!
There Ya Go!
I didn’t really need to buy any super big items for the wedding since my venue came with so much, but I am super thankful for Amazon for those last minute, little details that no one really thinks about. Are you going to purchase any of these items for your wedding? Let me know! I love knowing I helped someone make their wedding planning a little easier!
